The Story Behind The Cottage Collection

Looking for a family-friendly vacation rental on Tybee Island? So were we. In early 2020, as global travel came to a halt, the Cook family discovered the hidden charm of Tybee Island, Georgia, a relaxed coastal destination filled with history, natural beauty and artistic character.

After reading an article about award-winning designer and historic preservationist Jane Coslick, we felt inspired to explore the island in person. One visit was all it took to fall in love with Tybee’s walkable beaches, vibrant cottages and welcoming community.

By 2022, we had restored our first historic beach homes and partnered with Jane to bring them back to life. That was the beginning of The Cottage Collection Tybee Island, a growing collection of vacation rentals that preserve and share the spirit of this unique place.
