The Story Behind The Cottage Collection Tybee Island

Looking for a family-friendly vacation rental on Tybee Island? So were we. In 2017, after Hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico, we found ourselves scrambling to find a last-minute vacation destination for our family. Having recently read an article in Southern Living about Jane Coslick’s historic preservation work on Tybee Island, we were inspired to explore the island. What we discovered was a hidden gem with abundant charm, a relaxed coastal destination filled with history, natural beauty and artistic character. One visit was all it took to fall in love with Tybee’s walkable beaches, vibrant cottages and welcoming community.

Over the next two years we partnered with Jane to restore our first historic beach cottage. That was the beginning of our dream to one day form The Cottage Collection Tybee Island, a handpicked selection of homes that preserve and celebrate the island’s timeless spirit.
